11/21/2003 - Canoga Park, California - Aegis Medical Systems, Inc. is sponsoring the "Keys To Recovery" (“KTR”) organization and local chapters throughout California. KTR was recently developed as a joint venture between Aegis Medical Systems, Inc., Aegis Institute and recovering addicts with the intention of allowing NTP patients access to highly needed support groups.
Suzie Keller, R.N., Director of Medical & Clinical Services, says: “It's an outrage for Narcotics Anonymous (“N.A.”) groups to restrict methadone patients from fully participating in meetings." Ms. Keller further states, "By offering KTR Support Groups at its facilities, Aegis hopes to persuade the addictions treatment field, including N.A., to realize that all persons in recovery must have total support from all 12 step groups."
