Canoga Park, California - Udi Barkai, President & C.E.O. is proud to announce the successful accreditation of Aegis Medical Systems, Inc. and eight of its clinics, which were awarded the maximum accreditation term of three years. The award was granted following the surveys that were conducted by the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (“CARF”) in the months of November.

Ron Alvarado, Director of Quality Assurance & Licensing, states that "the review process was based on rigorous guidelines for service and quality, as well as an examination of each clinic’s performance in areas such as compliance with state and federal regulations, customer service, professional competence and accuracy of documentation."

Steve Maulhardt, Vice President, added that, "Since Aegis commenced operations in 1998, it has lobbied for regulatory changes in pursuit of higher standards of patient care. The mandatory licensure and certification of all staff members, as well as the accreditation of NTP’s were given the primary focus."
