AEGIS ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF ITS NEW CONTROLLER AND DIRECTOR OF QUALITY ASSURANCE & QUALITY CONTROL
8/15/2007 - Canoga Park, California - Udi Barkai, President & C.E.O., is pleased to announce the appointment of Becky Heinicke to the position of Director of Quality Assurance & Quality Control, and Ron Alvarado to the position of Controller.
In his new position, Mr. Alvarado will be in charge of Aegis’ Finance Department, including the underlying billing and accounting sub-departments. Accordingly, he will oversee financial planning and reporting, internal budgets, financial operations, financial audits, as well as money management and cost management for the corporation.
Ms. Heinicke will head the Department of Q.A. & Q.C., and will oversee all quality assurance (i.e., regulatory compliance), and quality control (i.e., clinical and patient care standards) matters for Aegis. Her additional responsibilities include overseeing Aegis’ compliance with CARF accreditation guidelines, HIPAA implementation, and its Corporate Compliance Policy.
Mr. Barkai stated that, “In their new positions Ms. Heinicke and Mr. Alvarado will be heading two of the most important departments within Aegis, and will oversee critical areas of Aegis’ operations.” He also stated that, “I am confident in their future success, as both of them possess the leadership, experience, and discretion required for these sensitive positions. Furthermore, both of them excelled in their previous directorship positions within Aegis.”
He added in summary that, “On a personal note, I am especially proud of Ms. Heinicke’s promotion, because of the great significance that it holds with all other Aegis staff members. Ms. Heinicke was hired eight (8) years ago as an entry-level counselor.
