AEGIS ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF REGIONAL CLINICAL DIRECTORS
9/3/2007 - Canoga Park, California, Arron Hightower, Director of Clinical Services, is pleased to announce the recent recruiting of Terry Jordan, in LA, William Schmidt in Santa Maria, Lorraine Ibold in Ontario, Joanne Snider in Santa Barbara & Oxnard, and Dan Bruce in Modesto as Regional Clinical Directors (RCD’s). He stated that, “This is a landmark for Aegis. From this point on, the majority of Aegis clinics will have RCD’s working alongside with our physicians, who serve as medical directors at our clinics.”
Jeff Bisaga, Regional Clinical Director for Aegis’ Chico clinic, stated, “We are very proud that such outstanding clinicians have joined Aegis. As a group, they bring a broad array of experience in the treatment of various mental, emotional and behavioral disorders.” He further added, “The newly appointed RCD's primary responsibilities include participation in clinical decision making, oversight of Aegis’ partnerships with academic institutions, as well as the recruiting of specialists and provision of specialized services to Aegis patients.”
Becky Heinicke, Director of Q.A. & Q.C., stressed the important role that RCD’s play in the treatment of our patients, and stated that, “Recent studies suggest that almost 90% of our patient population exhibit symptoms of co-occurring conditions. Unless we adequately educate our patients, and offer them treatment for these conditions, they are not likely to be successful with their recovery.” In summary, she stated, “None of these services would be possible without the addition of RCD’s to Aegis’ clinical staff.”
