AEGIS ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF JADE M. KELLY TO POSITION OF GENERAL COUNSEL
5/21/2007 - Canoga Park, CaliforniaUdi Barkai, President & C.E.O., has announced the appointment of Jade M. Kelly, Esq., to the position of Aegis General Counsel. Mrs. Kelly, a senior associate of Avola & Associates, previously worked at the Office of the Aegis General Counsel from 2004 to 2006, upon relocating from New Zealand. Over the last three years, she has been involved with such matters as: legislative work for the protection of patient rights; development of policies, protocols and procedures such as Aegis' Corporate Compliance Policy; commercial matters, including insurance, real estate and HR employment matters.
Mrs. Kelly is a graduate from the University of Canterbury School of Law, and previously worked at Pyne Gould Guinness Finance, Ltd in New Zealand. In addition to Mrs. Kelly’s license in California, she is also a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
Jade Kelly commented that, “I’m excited to take on this challenging position. I look forward to head the General Counsel’s Office and assist Aegis Department Directors, as well as our patients with the protection of their constitutional rights.”
