AEGIS WRAPS PRODUCTION ON THE NEW PATIENT ORIENTATION VIDEO
8/14/2008 - Canoga Park, California, Udi Barkai, President & C.E.O., is pleased to announce the completion of the new Patient Orientation Video. The video was produced in house in collaboration with MCW Production of Bakersfield California, and with the help of Aegis patients and staff members.
The Patient Orientation Video is available both on DVD as well as through video streaming, and it will be incorporated into Aegis’ standard admission procedures. In addition to program rules, the video also covers patient rights, regulations, and elaborates on the various treatment services available to Aegis patients.
Becky Heinicke, Director of Q.A. & Q.C., has stated that, “The education of our patients is essential to their successful recovery. It provides patients with transparency into our decision-making process, as well as enables patients to take a proactive role in their recovery process. Last, but not least, this new tool is consistent with CARF accreditation standards and guidelines.”
