PAAG MAKES PRESENTATION TO AEGIS INSTITUTE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
2/23/2009 - Canoga Park, California – Steve Day, PAAG Chairman, and Russell Iadanza, PAAG Board Member, were pleased to present the Board of Directors of Aegis Institute, Inc., a report of the extensive activities that the Patient Advocacy & Advisory Group took part in through 2008. These activities included the development of local PAAG chapters and initiation of specialized Keys to Recovery support groups throughout Aegis Medical Systems, Inc.’s, (“AMS”) network of clinics. The PAAG also played an essential role in the campaign against State budget cuts to NTP programs.
Steve Day added, “The PAAG has now rapidly expanded to include over 70 members that represent over 24 local PAAG Chapters based in AMS clinics. The PAAG has also been essential in the development of Keys to Recovery Support Groups throughout California that are dedicated to such topics as Grief & Loss, Parenting, Relapse Prevention, Social Anxiety, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, as well as other special needs.”

The PAAG’s testimonials to the State Senate and Assembly Budget Committees provided legislators with significant personal insight into the successful recovery of Aegis patients, as well as the damage that budget cuts could cause to this great success story.”
