CARF SURVEYS AT AEGIS COASTAL CLINICS
Canoga Park, California – Throughout the month of March 2004, the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (“CARF”) performed in-depth reviews of the services at Aegis’ coastal clinics (Santa Barbara, Oxnard, Simi Valley, Santa Paula). Their review process was based on rigorous guidelines for service and quality as well as an examination of each clinic’s performance in areas such as compliance with state and federal regulations, customer service, professional competence and accuracy of documents.

Michael Seifert, R.N., M.H.A., Director of Operations reported, “The final results of the review will be published in mid-2004, and it is expected that participating clinics will be receiving the maximum three-year term for the CARF accreditation.”
