Canoga Park, California – The Patient Advisory and Advocacy Group (“P.A.A.G.”), in partnership with Aegis Medical Systems, Inc. and Aegis Institute, Inc., is proud to announce the amendment of the Keys To Recovery policies extending its scope to include groups which are dedicated to specific clinical or socio-economical needs of the patients. This group will serve as an addition to the “traditional” Keys To Recovery groups that are geared towards recovery and relapse prevention.
Steve Day, P.A.A.G. Chairman, has stated, “In addition to recovery from addiction, many patients also face various other obstacles and challenges through their recovery processes. These include Hepatitis-C, grief, anxiety, stress, peer pressure, sleeping disorders, and single parenthood, just to name a few.” While Aegis staff is able to provide patients with professional help, patients can better help each other with emotional and motivational support, as well as sharing of hopes and positive experiences.
