Physicians

Provide medical supervision and care for patients seeking treatment for addiction . Works closely with the clinic manager, nurses and counselors to provide a holistic treatment approach for patients engaged in both short and long term treatment programs. Teaching and training of clinical staff required. Involvement in decision-making process in case conferences, uncomplicated dual diagnosis treatment, Hepatitis C, nutritional counseling and referral services. Community involvement and teaching to reduce the stigma associated with substance abuse treatment appreciated. Responsible for medical regulatory compliance and participation in the accreditation processes. Participation in grants and research projects at selected sites through NIDA, UCLA, etc. Reports to the Chief Medical Director and the Director of Clinical and Medical Services. Openings available, Part-time/ Full-time, early morning to early afternoon hours. Contracts negotiable based upon availability.
