Provide medical supervision and care for patients seeking
treatment for addiction . Works closely with the clinic manager, nurses and
counselors to provide a holistic treatment approach for patients engaged in both
short and long term treatment programs. Teaching and training of clinical staff
required. Involvement in decision-making process in case conferences,
uncomplicated dual diagnosis treatment, Hepatitis C, nutritional counseling and
referral services. Community involvement and teaching to reduce the stigma
associated with substance abuse treatment appreciated. Responsible for medical
regulatory compliance and participation in the accreditation processes.
Participation in grants and research projects at selected sites through NIDA,
UCLA, etc. Reports to the Chief Medical Director and the Director of Clinical
and Medical Services. Openings available, Part-time/ Full-time, early morning to
early afternoon hours. Contracts negotiable based upon availability.

Supervise effective treatment services. Supervise proper implementation of protocols for patients observation, UA screening, case conferencing, peer reviews. Encourage the professional growth of clinical staff members through training, individual & group supervision, and ongoing education.

orders. Complete reports and documents as required, assist with intakes of new
patients. Follow supervision of Clinic Manager and Medical Director. Weekend
rotations, early morning hours 5am ? 2pm full time or part time positions
